Every session. One place.

Which agent is running. What you said last. How much window is left.

The problem

You run Claude Code in one window and Codex in another. Three repos. Six tabs. Every one of them is burning context and quota right now. Nothing on your screen says which.

You pay for every agent you run. What you cannot see is where each one stands.

What it does

It puts every session in the notch. One place. It stays sorted.

Claude CodeClaude Code CodexCodex

It reads the files these two already write to your disk. Nothing to connect, nothing to sign in to, nothing running alongside it.

The notch is a hole, not a screen. Draw in the middle 185pt and nothing shows. So the header sits in the two gaps beside it. The hardware wrote that layout, not us.

Where it stands

A made-up number fails once. After you have trusted it.

Install

Unzip it. Drag EchoIsland.app into Applications. Open it. No dock icon — the island is the app, and Quit sits under in the menu bar.

The first open gets stopped. This build is ad-hoc signed and not notarized yet, so macOS says it cannot verify the app is free of malware. That sentence means Apple has not looked. It does not mean Apple looked and found something.

  1. Double-click once. That makes macOS log the block.
  2. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, click Open Anyway.
  3. Confirm once more. Double-click works from then on. You do this one time.

One command does the same thing:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/EchoIsland.app

Notarization lands when the Developer ID does, and this whole section goes away. Checksum for this build:

Not there yet: a dwell delay before it opens, context scoring, a drop area, notarization. Leave an email. You hear once, when those land.
